GET INVOLVED
Your gift makes our mission possible. There are several ways to support our mission!
In my time volunteering at PRM I have learned so much! The women are truly women of God and are incredibly supportive, I love coming to work!

GIFT OF TIME
At Priest River Ministries-Advocates for Women, the heart of our leadership is service. Our faith-based organization is run by willing and capable volunteers who give of their time to aid women and children in crisis and families in need. We are looking for volunteers who want to partner with our ministry through service.
1 in 3 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime even in the Christian community! Maybe you were one of them or you knew someone who was in an abusive relationship and you saw firsthand the effect. Hope can make a difference in someone’s life. Our volunteers become part of a ministry team that invests in the lives of hurting people. Every task our volunteers choose to do for the ministry is significant.

Our team plays a vital role in providing a safe place where hope and healing can occur and lives can be transformed from oppression to freedom. We invite you to be part of this team through our volunteer opportunities. Some volunteer opportunities are as needed and others are an ongoing basis.

In all of our volunteer efforts, we endeavor to follow the teaching of Jesus in Matthew:

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’”
(Matthew 25:34-40 ESV)
